The Interplanetary Cycle Trail are a series of sculptures spaced along the Otago Central Rail Trail, sized and at a to scale distance from the Sun in Ranfurly. Seemed like the perfect subjects for some astro shoots. Pluto Neptune Uranus Saturn
From Shaky Bridge in Alexandra we climbed above the fog into the sunshine on the bike trails and farm tracks into the Knobby Range.

Moody clouds over the Roxburgh Gorge and Central Otago as we explored the Southern end of Flat Top Hill, which is sandwiched between Fruitlands and the Gorge.
Perfect night for an astro shoot up Puketapu overlooking Palmerston, Otago. It was windy and sub-zero but crystal clear. Was really glad I took the borrowed torch, not just fr artistic effect, but also for the treacherous, steep, dark, freezing decent.
